Gaga Who?

Well, we all know that Lady Gaga walked the runway at the Thierry Mugler Fall 2011 show twice. Nicola did an amazing job by the way. The collection was so powerful. I can say that the collection wants to make women feel more confident with themselves and feel empowered. Also, Gaga launched her latest single, Government Hooker, during the show. I was so stunned with how Gaga worked it but when I saw Madonna's walk at Jean Paul Gaultier show way way way back, I tell you, my jaw dropped. My world changed. Everything has changed. Madonna is the queen and will always be.

Here's the video of Madonna's walk at Gaultier

Oh wait, can someone remind me who Lady Gaga is again? She sounds familiar but I don't know if I have seen her? Sorry.

Where to Start?

This is my first entry after sixty fucking nine days. I honestly don't know how to start, what to say. It feels like my very first entry again. There's a lot of things happened for the past sixty nine days in the world of fashion (Galliano, Fall 2011/2012 collections, and so on and so forth) and in my own world. I've been really busy with my career. Well, all I can say is that I missed this. I missed everything about my blog and I promise you all, my fellow readers, that I'll never leave ever again. I'll stay forever. My sincerest apologies.

And to wrap my latest post, I would like to share 'THE' song I've been listening to (until now) for the past few days.

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign

“Once again, Marc Jacobs and Steven Meisel have created a remarkable campaign. What is extraordinary about these new visuals is their vivid rendering of the gloss, glitter and glamour of the fashion show. Its visual impact will be second to none this season” -Pietro Beccari, Executive Vice President of Louis Vuitton.

The glamorous ad was shot again by photographer Steven Meisel, featuring models Kristen McMenamy, Rachel Zimmermann and Freja Beha. When I first saw the Louis S/S11 collection, I fell in love and was blown away. It was very colorful, loud and sparkly. The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign will break in the February 2011 issues of magazines worldwide. (And of course, it's on Vogue's February 2011 issue...first page)

Shining & shimmering. Splendid.

Alexander McQueen Menswear Fall/Winter 2011-2012

Every time I hear the label, Alexander McQueen, there are two words that come in my mind: creativity & experimentation. Sarah Burton, again, gave justice to the fash house of the late Alexander McQueen. She did an amazing job. It was inspired by military heritage with a touch of 70s. The coats and jackets are extremely massive. Tailoring? Clear and clean.

Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection...

The red coat with black shearling collar that opened the show is my favorite. Extraordinary.

The World's Largest H&M

The moment I knew that the largest H&M is in LAS, I grabbed my faux fur immediately and went straight to Caesar's Palace. I never thought that it was THAT big. It is a 55, 000 square feet store with three levels.

Enormous.

What makes it more special is the hanging mannequins and huge balls.

I love H&M.
